Hon Lawal Idirisu the House of Representatives member representing Ajaokuta Federal constituency is the man that has been trying to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency. This man has been working tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in him by the electorates.
Among the numerous achievement in less than 2years now are the following
(1). Provision of new boreholes and repair of the old ones to alleviate the suffering of his people across the constituency.
(2). Provision of cash to women of 11 wards as empowerment to ameliorate the suffering of the electorates.
(3). Provision of power generating sets to royal fathers and some communities.
(4). Grading of some village roads within Ajaokuta district to give access to the farmers in bringing their farm produce to the market.
(5). Free eye medical treatment, phases 1 and 2, across the constituency of which about 67 people were operated, 258 were given eye spectacles and very many were given eye drops and drugs to enable them see clearly.
(6). Provision of solar street lights across Ajaokuta and Eganyi districts which many more are still on coming.
(7). Provision of two constituency offices to enable the electorates channel their problems for possible solutions which is the 1st of its kind in the history of the constituency.
(8). Numerous cash assistance to students and the less privileged. Also assisted with admissions into higher institutions.
(9). Federal appointments of 6 policemen, 2 Engineers and 1 Naval officer across the constituency. This is the first of its kind in the history of Ajaokuta constituency.
The good people of Ajaokuta, the above mentioned achievements of this honourable member are some we know among numerous achievements because he is not the type of a leader that believes in propaganda. Then, we think he deserves our prayers to enable him do more.
These projects and initiatives are verifiable. Anyone within the constituency, not in the diaspora, can testify that this man is really working to justify the votes of his electorates.
Our respected lawmaker, Alh. Lawal Idirisu, on behalf of the good people of Ajaokuta we are saying “WELL DONE SIR”.
Sir, please remain resolute in all your actions and efforts to uplift our people and ignore detractors. May the Almighty God grant you guidance and protection.
