Determined to ensure success of Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential aspiration, the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government of Kogi State, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami has appointed and inaugurated 52 coordinators for GYB-PYB project.
The coordinators which include youths, women, and elders advisory council are saddled with the responsibility to rally more supporters across the eleven wards and compliment the ruling party’s existing structures in Adavi LGA.
The coordinators are tasked to help secure victory for the ruling party across board in the forthcoming general elections.
Hon. Joseph Omuya, in his remarks during the inauguration at the conference hall of Adavi Council on Saturday, urge the coordinators to work assiduously in order to help deliver all flagbearers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polls.
Speaking further, the council chairman urged the inaugurated committees to use this opportunity judiciously and compliment the effort of the party. He urged every supporters of the party to commit the aspiration of Gov. Yahaya Bello into God’s hand and pray for Almighty’s guidance upon him.
The technically organised political strategy put forth by the council chairman at the council hall had in attendance the APC local government party chairman, vice chairman, cabinet members, APC central campaign chairman, Lusty Political Foundation, and party supporters across wards.
The local government party chairman, Hon. Barnabas Oyibo, while commending Hon. Salami for his exemplary leadership, efforts, and unique ways to encourage and reward party faithful at the grassroots, said the gesture demonstrated by the council chairman would no doubt boost the morale of party loyalists and set the pace for other local governments to follow.
The Chairman, Elders Advisory Council, Hon. Suleiman Jimoh Enesi, who spoke on behalf of the 52 coordinators, thanked the LG chairman for giving them the platform to prove their worth.
He also pledged that they will discharge the duty bestowed on them diligently, work for the interest of the party and the aspiration of Governor Yahaya Bello.
