Today in my score card series I will be discussing the achievement of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
Ajaokuta LGA is located in Kogi central senatorial district of the state. It has enormous human, material and natural resources. Ajaokuta is a home to the Iron and steel company in Nigeria. I will be taking some list introspection of the giant strides of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo’s achievements from 2024 till date in Ajaokuta local Government Area.
1. Governor Ahmed Usman is constructing road from Unosi to Ebiya. The longest stretch in Ajaokuta LGA/federal constituency.
2. Massive empowerment and political appointments for Ajaokuta indigenes across federal and state Governments.
3. Upragrading the stool of Ohi of Eganyi to Ohi of Ajaokuta-helping to bury worries of ancestral and royal ownership of Ajaokuta.
4. Construction of boreholes in strategic places in Ajaokuta LGA and environs.
5. Youths empowerment to various federal and state intervention programs.
6. Security improvement in Ajaokuta and environs- Ajaokuta LGA has minimal and insignificant security threat than any LGA in kogi state.
7. In education – AJAOKUTA is not left out as Government schools students at exit levels are benefiting from free Common entrance, free BECE fees, free SSCE fees.
8. Revitalization of health care services – provisions of medical facilities in hospitals and revitalization of primary health care services and health insurance interventions.
I can go on and on. More will still be done in the life of administration of the Chief servant of kogi state Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
