The associations of artisans have declared support for the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kogi Central, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan.
The artisans who were at the residence of the PDP senatorial candidate noted that they have decided to work for the candidature of Barr. Natasha because of her antecedent and her efforts to improve the lives of the people of Kogi Central.
The artisans were represented by the executives of different associations in the five local government areas of Kogi Central senatorial district.
The artisans include, the National Association of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Tailors Association of Nigeria (TAN), Okene Main Market Tailors Association, Nigeria Automobile Technician Association.
Others include National Association of Carpenters and Furniture Makers, Okehi Shoe and Bag makers Association, and Okada Riders Association.
The PDP senatorial candidate appreciated their support and promised to work with government to ensure a conducive atmosphere that will simplify their works and create one stop shop where everything they need to carryout their works will be available.
“I hope you will all become ambassadors of our vision to change our story,” Natasha enthused.
“We will speak for you and bring opportunities for you when we get to the Senate.
“I understand your importance in running the economy, by the time we bring soft loans and government interventions, it will help to boost your businesses and increase your productivity and income.
“As you go back home to your respective homes and communities, spread our message of hope to your customers, your wives and children.
“Don’t be afraid to exercise your right, remember the promises we’ve had today and hold me accountable when I get to the Senate”, she concluded.
