“The failure of the APC led government and the slopes being witnessed in all facets and all segments of national embodiments, are eloquent and resounding testimonies in favour of  PDP. This must gear up PDP faithful to give their eyes no sleep in the next two months, in order to see to it that the PDP breasts the tape at all levels, during the coming elections.

“The coming election is a struggle for the freedom of our nation, and as such, every action must be decisive, not allowing  freedom to be slaughtered on the altar of pecuniary and financial inducement.

“For the people of Ijumu, PDP is the only party that can reset the polity and restore rotational arrangement, that the APC government in Kogi State has bastardized,” the communiqué read in part.

The campaign council urged members to place the interest of the party higher and above personal interests, calling on the leadership of the party at various levels to expedite actions at reconciliation of all warring factions within the party.
