In a press statement signed by the Secretary, Oladele Olanike, YORASI described Nihi as a youth advocate who excelled in previous assignments.
According to Olanike, Nihi will not disappoint African youths in the course of managing the current task.
“The entire management and staff of YORASI, Nigeria appreciate the Pan-Africa Youth Union (PYU) for finding our founder/executive director worthy to be the pioneer commissioner for youth political participation.
“Ambassador Nihi Oladele John, a renowned youth advocate and national youth leader, indeed deserves this appointment. We are in no doubt that he will put his previous experiences from the students and youth affairs over these years in the biggest Africa nation to this newest continental mandate.
“Our deepest gratitude also goes to the Federal Ministry for Youth Development, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and AU-ECCOSOC for their support towards this historical achievement,” she said.
