A female graduate, Anuoluwapo Justina Ogunmuyiwa, has cried for help from the government and the entire public over the fire accident that happened around the Cantonment Area in Lokoja on February 3 this year.

Narrating her ordeal, Ms. Ogunmuyiwa, who hails from Iyara, Ijumu Local Government of the State, said the fire affected about 9 apartments altogether in her house, calling on House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and Senators to come to their rescue.

She emphasized that the fire only spared their lives as no life was lost, but all properties burned to ashes.

Ms. Ogunmuyiwa, despite being a graduate, is a petty trader who sells soft drinks around Lokoja International Market. She said a high voltage of electricity is suspected to be the cause of the fire.

She confirmed that the Nigeria Police Force is aware and that the fire department of Kogi State government was on ground to minimise the damages, but the damages were done already.

She can be reached on 07034732286.
