He prayed God almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give his immediate family and the entire Kogi State Polytechnic community the fortitude to bear the loss.

The guest pastor from United Evangelical Church Iyano Superintendent, Reverend Raphael Ocheje admonished Christians not to see death as a period of mourning but for joy as it brings man into eternity if they die in Christ.

Speaking at the funeral service, Rev. Ocheje said there are two types of destinations after death and it depends on a man’s action on earth.

He urged Nigerians, particularly Christians, to make the right choices between life and death, advising them to choose life (heaven) through living a holy life so that they may live forever after death.

Pastor Ocheje disclosed that good name is better than great riches, warning Christians not to make their names a liability for their children’s after their death.

The clergy man called on the faithful to strive to live behind good names as legacies and not riches while alive.
