After reading several articles on the incident that happened on Monday 27th day of this month to the Yoruba Nollywood stars as they were heading to a location to do business as usual, but it was unfortunate that they were attacked but Juwon Awe was the unlucky person amongst them as he met his tragic end after a bullet was shot at him.

Toyosi was interviewed and Ibrahim Chatta but the perspective both of them were speaking from was not logical. Toyosi Adesanya called late Juwon her Personal Assistant and later she called him a driver. Ibrahim Chatta was interviewed and he said Late Juwon was a continuity manager in his industry and later said at the tail end of the interview that he also drives; these was his words to Premium Times.

I, Emmanuel Olalekan Omopariola, a far cousin to Juwon Awe, want to say it categorically that Late Juwon was not a driver. He happened to be driving at that time which it could have been anybody.

Calling the late rising star a “driver” is as if you want to denigrate the dead or Toyosi Adesanya was trying to hide something.

I read several articles before coming up with this conclusion that fellow actors wants to robe the late Juwon Awe to the mould which we the Okun Youth frowns at it.

Driving a car for a purpose doesn’t make one a driver. If Juwon Awe was a driver, I want the said lady (Toyosi Adesanya ) to tell us how much she pays to him.

Other news platform says Juwon Awe was going for a movie he was to be featured part of (he also had a role to play).

Ibrahim Chatta said Juwon Awe was a continuity manager in his company and drives.

It is also logical to call a banker that was given an official car for easy mobility a driver.

The articles so far has been controversial. I am here to lead the people right.
How can a supposed Director turn common driver after his demise? We consider it has a bad omen in the industry.

I have been watching Juwon Awe in top Yoruba movies prior to his demise. Late Juwon Awe has a movie project he was suppose to shoot later this year but death snatched him away from us.

In conclusion, please visit Juwon Awe’s Facebook account and read reactions from fans and family members on this belittled nomenclature that is making round that the deceased was a “driver”.

I have come to clear the air that Juwon was not a driver but he happened to be driving on that day. A man that was never employed as a driver by you, calling that man a driver because he simply drives when going to locations is criminal!

Rest on Juwon Awe.
