Chairman Senate Committee on SDGs Tasks Igala Professors On Value Re-orientation

Chairman senate committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Senator Atai Aidoko Ali has charged Igala academicians and professors not to ignore the geometrical decadence of the values of the race in the face of multiple distractions.
Senator Aidoko made this disclosure during the maiden gathering of Igala Professors at Reiz Hotel Abuja to honour two professors on their recent appointments – Professor Stephen Ikani Ocheni, Minister of State for Labour and Employment; and Professor Sam Egwu, the newly appointed INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Niger state.
Aidoko expressed serious reservation on the abuse of core value by the youths of Igala extraction leveraging on modernity and global age, opining that the situation is negatively applied.
He advised the Igala professors to form a synergy to check the proliferation of such ugly scenario, ‎stating that if not nipped in the bud now the aftermath effects of the situation may not augur well for all and sundry.
Senator Aidoko commended the forum for achieving such a reasonable and collective feat in their chosen career, urging them to do more for humanity and posterity.
He stressed the need for the academicians to form a common front, like the Idoma nation, so as to move the area to a greater height in the area of socio-economic and political development.
He congratulated the two appointees for their well deserved feat urging them to demonstrate the confidence reposed in them and their abilities to deliver on their given mandate and assignment.
The Kogi East senator described the Igala professors as viable asset to the race. He urged them to do more for the betterment of the area and the entire nation in general.
