Press Release: NAKOSS Announce Winners of Essay Competition on Obasanjo’s Book, My Watch

The National Association of Kogi State Students, (NAKOSS) wishes to announce the winners of the essay competition organized by the body during her 15th year anniversary and 10th leadership summit on 30th November, 2018, at Idrinana Hotel Lokoja, Kogi State on the topic: “ The Consequences of Electing the Personality Trait of the Person Described on Pages 31-32 of Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo’s Book, MY WATCH”.

The essay was monetized by the Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Government, Hon. Edward Onoja with the first prize, cash draft of N150,000, second place, N100,000, third place N70,000 and 17 additional winners who would go home with the sum of N50,000 for the entrants who are all students of different institutions but indigenes of Kogi State. 

The Essays written by these students would be randomly published, for Nigerians and Kogites to see what the Nigerian students think about the character of the personality described in the book of the ex President.

6th. Kasim Muhammed Nezifi – 400L Student of Ahmadu Bello University.

7th. Damilola Bidemi David – 200L Student of Federal University Lokoja.

The winners are expected on Monday 21st January, 2019, at the Nakoss Secretariat (Phase 2 Junction, Lokoja )to collect their cash draft. They are to appear by 3pm with a valid means of identification, bearing recognition of their institutions.
