Politician of the Year: Gov. Bello Has Continually Raised Hope of Nigerian Youth – Lawal

The Chairman, Kogi State Youth Development Commission (KYDC), Mr Lawal Ozomata James has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on the occasion of his meritorious award as the Blueprint Newspaper’s ‘Politician of the Year’.

The Chairman extolled the excellent virtues of Governor Yahaya Bello, stating that the youthful governor has raised the hope, aspiration, relevance and capacity of youth in Nigeria through his leadership qualities and massive infrastructural development Kogi State witnessed in the last 6 years.

The KSYDC said the award did not come as surprise because Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Bello has witnessed development and elevation both in human and infrastructural development.

“Kogi State today has witnessed tremendous change under your leadership. The present state of Kogi is one all citizens of the state are proud of as they can boldly and proudly say, this is my state.”

Mr Lawal Ozomata said the award as the Blueprint Governor of the year is long overdue and well deserved.

“Those who live in Kogi state and travelers that passed the state will testify to the fact that, you deserve multiple award for bringing development to the state”, the chairman said.

“Despite the paucity of fund, you have prudently utilize the little to establish legacy projects across the state. The youths salute your leadership dexterity”.

“As a youth, you have also emancipate the demography from being spectators to taking center stage in making decisions that concerns them, this is first time in the history of Nigeria that a governor will place thousands of youths in leadership positions. We the youths are proud of you your Excellency.”

The chairman, on behalf of the entire Kogi youths, members and staff of Kogi State Youth Development Commission wished Governor Yahaya Bello a more fruitful and achievements overflow in the coming years with more awards that his shelve will not be enough to take them.
