.The President for the Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN), Dr Moses Deola Eseyin has congratulated Barrister Femi Mokikan on his re-election as the National Chairman of the Okun Development Association (ODA).
Dr Eseyin who also from the Okun area of Kogi State made his congratulatory message available to newsmen earlier today in Lagos during an Okun people’s forum meeting organized to chart a way forward for the people.
Speaking at the meeting, Bashorun Eseyin commended the electoral team for the peaceful and transparent coordination of the election and emergence of the national officers into various offices to serve Okun people for the next tenure.
He also congratulated all contestants and the winners, describing the struggle to liberate and develop Okun as a contest of no victor no vanquished as all are responsible to collectively be part of our own mother’s land development.
While charging the newly elected members, he said, “no doubt that Barrister Femi Mokikan is no stranger to us, we are confident of his results so far as our National Chairman and having him re-elected is deserving and would be a consolidation of his giants strides towards defending our culture and heritage and more importantly pushing forward.”
Dr. Eseyin concluded by calling on all Okun sons and daughters home and diaspora to support and rally round the Okun Development Association executives to make their work easier and achieving an enviable Okun race realizable.
