The Onyi Ododo Forum in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, held its weekly meeting with a massive turnout in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 polls.
The Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, encouraged the members and all women leaders across the fifteen axes to double their efforts in the area of mobilization, as the 2027 general elections are around the corner.
He commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State for the recent inspection of the Kogi State Airport and the immortalization of the Kogi Specialist Hospital in honor of the late Governor Ibrahim Idris.
Mallam Musari described the Governor’s mother, Hajia Habibat Ahmed Ododo, as one of the most pious women in society, noting that her generosity has felt throughout Kogi State.
He further expressed gratitude to the Governor’s mother for her empowerment initiatives. Notably, elderly women traders at the main market in the Bariki ward of the Okene Local Government Area each received ₦50,000, which followed a recent donation of ₦1.5 million to the Onyi Ododo Forum for empowerment.
Mallam Musari prayed that Allah would preserve the life of the Governor’s mother in good health and immense wealth, so that the forum might continue to enjoy her boundless magnanimity.
