Orebiyi Salutes Women for Supporting PDP in Kogi

The Kogi State Women Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olori Margaret Orebiyi has called for peaceful coexistence among members of the party’s women wing in the state.
Orebiyi made the called during a meeting of women leaders of the party at the PDP state secretariat in Lokoja on Wednesday.
She said peace is the major ingredient for sustainable growth in party politics.
Orebiyi commended the women of the state for the unalloyed support given to the party in the various local governments of Kogi State.
She acknowledged the unwavering loyalty and tenacity of the women leaders of PDP, adding that their support has helped to foster mutual and cordial relationship among the executives.
The PDP woman leader of Idah local government, Hajia Mariam Baba expressed happiness over the quick response of all the women leaders to the call by the state woman leader. She commended them for leaving their individual local governments to meet on how to move the party forward in Kogi state.
She urged members and leaders of the party to eschew selfishness and high-handedness, and work as a team for a common goal.
The state woman leader pledged to sustain the peace reining in the party across the local governments in the state.
At the end of the meeting, the women leaders resolved to intensify efforts to sensitise women to take advantage of the ongoing continuous voters registration to get their permanent voters card. They pledged to work as team in reconciling all the aggrieved women in the party across all the councils
The women leaders promised to be disciplined by not falling cheap to money bag politicians that has no good political antecedents.
