I know that some of you who might have been keenly following the recent activities of  Tony Ogah Peace Foundation,  under the superintendency and sponsorship of Amb. Anthony Ogah, may be battling with this heart-aching question as it’s also came to me from different concerned personalities; “Why is Ambassador Anthony Ogah  into voter’s sensitization cum education? Judging from his recent campaign against the mortgaging of voting right for monetary gains and its future consequences under his recently flagged-off program tagged ‘My PVC is Not For Sale’, despite his obvious myriad continuous publication of his lack of intention to run for any political (governmental) office/position.
The simple answer to the above question goes thus; Tony Ogah Peace Foundation is not just a registered charitable body but equally a Peacemaking organization whose fundamental objectives is hinged on molding a peaceful, prosperous and harmonious society. And for any individual, organization or entity  to achieve this goal, there must be reigns of equity, transparency, accountability and above all a just and fair societal activities in order not to contravene the interests of others, before it result into conflicts, especially in a polarized contemporary society like ours. In an unjust society, peace can’t thrive but in an environment where there is justice and fairness, peace reign at the extreme mode.
The main reason why we embarked upon this voter education cum sensitization is that :
‘Buying of votes’ during elections by an obviously pellucid incompetent candidate to win election against the financially incapacitated competent candidate is the height perpetration of injustice and this could in turn result to a team up against each other which will consequently bring about conflicts while peace elude.
This particular advocacy or sensitization by the group is not targeted at an individual, state, political party or politician  but for a nationalistic interest and progress. You can only be victim by poor incumbent performance and poor antecedents before vying for political position.
