The Kogi State Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Yunusa Halidu Adazaki, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the sudden passing of the party’s Youth Leader in Dekina Local Government Area, Hon. Egah Yahaya.
In a condolence message released on Thursday in Lokoja, Hon. Adazaki described the demise of the local government youth leader as a devastating and painful loss to the entire political family in the state, particularly at a critical moment when his leadership and service were needed most. He, however, submitted to the divine will, noting that God in His infinite mercy has called the deceased to eternal glory.
Paying tribute to the late youth leader, Adazaki commended Hon. Egah Yahaya for his unwavering loyalty, commitment, and passion towards the growth and success of the Peoples Democratic Party throughout his tenure. He highlighted the late leader’s dedication to mobilizing and uniting young people within Dekina Local Government Area and beyond.
“Hon. Egah Yahaya was a loyal and dedicated party man who served the PDP with utmost commitment, selflessness, and passion. His passing leaves a major vacuum in our youth wing,” Adazaki stated.
The State Youth Leader offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed, asking God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.
He further extended his heartfelt sympathies to the executive committee and members of the PDP in Dekina Local Government Area, as well as the immediate family, associates, and friends of the late youth leader, praying that Almighty God grants them all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
