A socio-political group, Okun Parapo, has hailed the conferment of chieftaincy title, Bobagunwa of Igbaruku Land on frontline politician, Chief Richard Asaje.
In a statement issued by Hon. Musa Bakare on Tuesday, the group congratulated Chief Asaje and described the chieftaincy title as a reflection of his exemplary leadership qualities and his unwavering dedication to the development, progress and promotion of unity and harmony among the people of Igbaruku.
The statement noted that as a very worthy elder and leader of Okun land, Chief Richard Asaje has consistently demonstrated his passion for service and ability to bring people together for the greater good.
“This new title, Bobagunwa, is a fitting recognition of Chief Richard Asaje’s tireless efforts and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of humanity.
“It is with great pride and admiration that we congratulate Chief Richard Asaje on this momentous occasion.
“May this recognition bring prosperity, peace, and unity to the community, and may he continue to be a shining example of service and dedication to all,” he said.
The chieftaincy title will be officially conferred on Chief Asaje at YWLG Primary School Igbaruku Okeri on March 30 by 10:00am.
