I join millions of Nigerians to condole the people of Kogi state on the death of Alhaji Nuhu Audu.
The death of Alhaji Nuhu Audu widely known as Babayade, has left a gaping hole among the ranks of Kogi state political leaders, but he leaves behind a solid foundation for others to build upon.
The work of Nuhu stands as a testament to his commitment to grassroots development which earned him the respect of millions who were inspired by his commitment to democracy, women and youth empowerment, the eradication of poverty and civic engagement.
The legacy of the late Nuhu will stands as an example to all in the pursuit of common progress and described the death of Babayade as a loss for the people of Kogi state, and the entire Nigerian youth and the political community.
He was an amiable, humble and easy-going gentleman who exhibited a high sense of responsibility in the service of God Almighty and his state. The Babayade’s family has without doubt lost a great Father and I prayed to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
On behalf of my family, I send our deepest condolences to the Nuhu’s family and the people of Kogi state at this difficult time. We mourn with you and celebrate the extraordinary life of a remarkable man who devoted his life to peacefully protecting unity, democratic Justice
and the common future of the youths.
