The National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF) and Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) have commenced efforts to establish a strategic partnership to highlight NLTF’s impactful Good Causes and broaden its information dissemination, driving social progress and development.
The Executive Secretary, Comrade Tosin Adeyanju, during a courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Comrade Salihu Abdul-Hamid Dembos, said the Fund executed over 300 successfully viable projects over the years, adding that some of which are currently ongoing in various various communities.
He noted that the cardinal objective of the intervention program is a testimony that President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is aimed at improving the livelihood of vulnerable Nigerians.
“The aim of this visit is to see how we can partner with the Africa largest television station, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) to amplify our GOOD CAUSES.
“Because over the years, we executed over three hundred intervention projects in various communities that include health, sports, education and rural water supply as well as disaster management and environmental protection across the country.
“We have done a lot and we need partnership with NTA, to help us disseminate our huge intervention programmes that we have been doing across the country and the one we will do moving forward,” he said.
Adeyanju said that President Tinubu is doing so much in impacting the lives of Nigerians through initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Executive Secretary said the Fund would continued to collaborate with NTA to help drive its meaningful programmes.
Dembo congratulated Adeyanju on his new role as Executive Secretary of the National Lottery Trust Fund, expressing enthusiasm for their partnership with NTA. He noted that this collaboration would offer a fantastic platform for the Fund to highlight and amplify its impressive accomplishments.
“It will be a very good opportunity for the National Lottery Trust Fund to explore this great opportunity that are open for you because of our presence across the country.
“I know your activities cut across the entire country and at any giving time if you have any event such as intervention you are welcome to call our attention.
“Because, NTA is a public medium and our mandate is to see that all government establishments are given necessary support that they required in order to achieve their core mandates too.
“NTA is ever ready to cooperate and support National Lottery Trust Fund, to enable Nigerians and beyond get to know its activities and prepare the minds of stakeholders for more support,” Dembo said.
He emphasized the importance of the Executive Secretary, Tosin Adeyanju, appearing on NTA’s program to showcase the National Lottery Trust Fund’s key initiatives and accomplishments, while also pledging support for the Fund.
