May Day: Dividends is the Hallmark of Democracy – Ododo

 The 4th Republic of Nigeria began 29th of May 1999, which makes the beginning of the longest Democracy in Nigeria which clocked 19 years today.
It is on this note that Hon. Moses Edoko Ododo said, “Dividends is the Hallmark of Democracy”.
Ododo made the statement available in Lokoja on Tuesday, he said the Dividends accrued to Democracy is what makes it worthwhile.
Ododo further called all political leaders to keep working relentlessly to ensure delivery of dividends of democracy to the populace.
He said despite the efforts of some well meaning Nigeria leaders, there are still some bad-eggs who for some selfish reasons are not making Nigerians reap the reward of Democracy, he called on such leaders to have rethink for the future of Nigeria.
Ododo while congratulating Nigerians, said Democracy has helped to achieve drastic and positive change through some pragmatic leaders.
On this note, he charged Nigerians to remain tolerant and patient as not to make efforts of our leaders go down the drain.
