Voice Of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY) has counseled new students at Kogi State University (KSU) to shun vices and bad company on campus.
In a congratulatory message signed by the convener of VOMY, Abel Olushola Julius, the group congratulated the students on the successful matriculation.
He urged the new intakes to study the students handbook given to them religiously to guide their paths on campus and make them graduate successfully.
“We also congratulate the National Association of Yagba Students (NAYAS), KSU Chapter on the freshers orientation programme. The programme which was designed to orientate Yagba fresh students on how to go about academic and nonacademic activities on campus.
“Kudos to NAYAS President, Comr. Adeleye Oluwafemi for the success of the orientation programme. We also appreciate the efforts of Mr. Femi Iselaye, DCN, Tuesday Abimbola, Comr. Juwon Eseyin, Comr. Sunday Paul, Comr. Oluropo Babatunde, Comr. Omosona Olakunle, Comr. Jacob Abraham Damilare, the leadership of VOMY and entire Yagba students in KSU for their immense contributions towards the success of the event,” he added.
The convener advised the new students to carefully choose student mentors that will guide them towards smooth learning process in the university.
