Lokoja-Kogi Bye Election: APC’s ‘Snap Your Votes and Get Paid’ Strategy is Dead on Arrival – PDP

The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says the APC led administration in the state should not test the will of the people by asking people to vote, snap their votes and get paid.

In a statement signed by Kabiru Mohammed, the PDP described the evil plot by the APC in the forthcoming coming Lokoja Kogi federal constituency bye-election to snap their ballot and be paid ten thousand naira as a plan that is dead on arrival.

The PDP described the last three year of the APC led administration as horrible, with poverty and hunger as the signpost of the administration, wondered how he would now turnaround to cajole the people with paltry sum.

The PDP called on security agencies and the INEC to ensure the sanctity of the ballot, described as an electoral crime for the APC led administration to demand a snap of the ballot as receipt for payment.

The PDP called on the electorates not to be hoodwinked into the APC satanic plot, wondering the downturn affecting the nations electoral system since the coming of the APC government.

The PDP advised the APC led administration to forget the Lokoja Kogi federal constituency bye election, noting that it is a done deal for the PDP, says it is late to deceive the people who in the last three years have been badly bruised and wounded.

The PDP says this should teach the APC led administration a lesson not to be clever by half, squandering the divine opportunity it has by inflicting pain and untold hardship on the citizenry.

The PDP tasked the electorates to be more than vigilant, vote and protect their votes, pointing out that no law allows electorates to vote and snap their votes.
