This letter is intended as a gesture of goodwill towards Edward Onoja and Austin Okai; the aim is to bring the long lasting feud between the two great sons of Igala Kingdom (Kogi East) to a halt. The conflict is in no way helping the region to grow, as it is only taking the precious time that would have been used to critically look at the problems of the people from the region and how to respond to them adequately.

1. The people are suffering, incurring different diseases everyday as a result of hunger and starvation in the land and instead of intelligent youths like you both to find possible and lasting way to address the situation, now result to fighting each other over political interests. We must strive towards turning intolerance into understanding so that Love can replace hate.

2. We should be ashamed of ourselves that we the youths are at the helm of affairs and we watch our elders who used their youthful age to bring us up suffering and dying slowly, This letter is to summon Mr. Edward Onoja and Mr. Austin Usman Okai to drop all they have against each other which I don’t see to be genuine rather selfish political interest so that we all can join heads together to plan for the future of Kogi East and Kogi State in general or the Peace Ambassador Tony Ogah Foundation will be forced to sponsor a 10,000 crowd march on calling for your peaceful resolution.

3. We need evident growth in Kogi East and that can only be achieved when there is Love, Peace and Harmony. There are so many issues to be looked at and addressed; the children that attend public schools in Kogi East are underfed and undereducated, what are we doing to improve their standards? Adolescents are engaging themselves in cult activities and other negative social vices that at the end will lead them into untimely deaths, what are we doing to clean up the menace? The youths are roaming the streets because there is no job, what are we doing to help them?

These are few out of the so many problems we are faced with that needs urgent solution; we do not need the fight and threat to life any more, let there be Peace so that we can progress positively.

God bless Kogi East.

God bless Kogi State.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

signed:

Peace Ambassador Anthony Ogah
