The Speaker of the Parliamentary arm of the Student Union Government of Kogi State University, Usman Husseini Attaja, has been nominated as the Chairman North Central Nigeria Universities on the National Assembly Dialogue at the National Assembly, Abuja.
This was made know to Kogireports by the Public Relations Officer 1 of the Union, Ogiri Emmanuel Cosmos. Ogiri described the nomination as a mark of recognition and honour for Kogi State University and her students.
“This the the best thing that has happened to Kogi State University SUG Parliament and the entire body at large”, he said.
In his remarks after the nomination, Usman Husseini Attaja urged all to learn from the exemplary life of the Speaker of the national assembly, Hon. Yakubu Dogara and the wife of the President, Hajia Aisha Buhari.
“I want to humbly use this medium to urge all my honorable members of this noble house that we are stakeholders at any political processes and must therefore aspire to contribute as a participant in legislative processes”, he added.
