Vice Chancellor, Kogi State University, Kabba, Prof Kehinde Eniola, has hailed the verdict of supreme court on the governorship election conducted in the state in November 2023.
In a statement on Friday, Prof KIT Eniola congratulated Governor Usman Ododo, describing the apex court’s judgement as a well-deserved victory.
He noted that Gov. Ododo’s passion for growth and development of infrastructure has endeared him to all who cherish progress in Kogi state.
“On behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students of Kogi State University, Kabba, I Professor K.I.T. Eniola heartily congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, on his victory at the Supreme Court today, affirming his win in the November 11th 2023 Governorship election.
“This triumph marks the culmination of a long legal battle, and we rejoice with His Excellency on this well-deserved victory. As an education-loving governor, your commitment to the development of the education sector has been unwavering.
“Under your leadership, we anticipate an even greater strides in the transformation of the education landscape in our beloved Confluence State. Your visionary leadership is giving expression to proper climate for excellence in learning and research, and we believe that your victory shall take it a notch higher,” he said.
Prof Eniola pledged that the university community, under his watch, shall continue to support and partner with Gov Ododo’s administration, working collaboratively to raise the next generation of patriots who will be globally competitive, nationally recognized and locally relevant.
