The Kogi State University Alumni Association has described the death of the bursar of the institution, Alh. Yahaya Adeiza Yusuf as shocking.
In a statement issued by the president of the association, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, the Alumni body condoled with the management of the university over the death of Yusuf.
“News of the demise of the university Bursar, Alh. Yahaya Adeiza Yusuf came to us as a rude shock. The late Bursar was a humble and devoted Muslim who will be greatly missed by the university community.
“We Cherish his exemplary lifestyle which has impacted positively on the lives of all who came across him.
“We wish to commiserate with the council, University management and the entire university community over his demise. We pray that Almighty Allah grant his soul Aljanah Fidausi and the family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the statement read.
