The Kogi State Best Interest Support Group wants to use this medium to congratulate the Conveners of the Kogi West Youth Dialogue; Comr. John Oladele Nihi; Comr. Umar Yakubu Ali and Mr. Opeyemi Owoeye and indeed all the Youth of Kogi West for a successful hosting of the first ever youths summit.
The theme of the discussions, 2019 Election, Setting Youth Agenda couldn’t have come at a better time.
We sincerely appreciate all the presenters; Rt. Hon. Prince Kolawole Mathew (Youth and Money Politics: Kogi West in Focus ), Barr. Babatunde Irukera (Youth Unemployment and Electoral Violence: 2019 General Elections in Focus) and Rt. Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam (Political leadership: hurdles before Kogi West Youths) for the well researched presentations; the discussants for spicing the discussions and most especially the youths who avail themselves from the entire Kogi West Senatorial districts and participated actively. It shows we can put the best interest of Kogi State above any other,  it can only get better.
The success of the programme no doubt will resonate in the entire state and it is on that note we encourage a similar platform in the other zones of the state.
Being the first of it’s kind, it is obvious that the Kogi West Youths are ready to change the narrative and set the template for youth participation in politics for others to follow.
Once again congratulations to Kogi West Youths for the initiative. We enjoin our youths to put the lessons learnt to practice.
Comrade Dan Mayaki
Director General,
