An aspirant contesting for Kogi West Senatorial seat in the National Assembly under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Williams Toyin Akanle has promised to alleviate the suffering of the people through robust legislation.
Akanle made this known while briefing newsmen after submitting his nomination form at the National Secretariat of APC in Abuja on Tuesday.
He explained that is aspiration is a response to clarion call from the electorate who desire a paradigm shift in national representation.
He stated that with the massive support for his ideals and plans for Kogi West district, he is sure of victory at the 2019 polls.
The aspirant promised that if elected, representation would be business unusual.
Youth groups, women, non governmental organizations and party faithfuls across the senatorial district took turns to deliver solidarity messages at the carnival-like event at the party secretariat.
