Kogi West 2019: Tajudeen Bisimillahi Assures Stakeholders Of Quality Representation

Ahead of 2019 electoral campaigns, an All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Kogi West Senatorial District seat, Tajudeen Ibrahim Bisimillahi yesterday assured major stakeholders in the federal constituency of quality representation in the next year’s general election should he be given an opportunity to fly the party’s ticket.

 

Bisimillahi said his strong conviction was fired by the present agitation for a change in the representation at the Senate as well as his personal relationship with the people and the firm knowledge of the political terrain of the constituency.

 

The APC aspirant, who made the pledge when leaders and stakeholders of the party paid him a solidarity visit at his Ejuku country home in Yagba East local government area of Kogi State, disclosed that he had trained many youths in skill acquisition and encouraged indigent students by assisting them pay their tuition through his Bisimillahi Foundation.

 

He said he was elated by the visit of the delegation from the constituency, saying his entry into the Kogi West senatorial race was heightened by pressure and clarion call by the people of the constituency to contest in 2019 based on poor representation. “I assure you that I will not disappoint you in this call to represent the people of Kogi West federal constituency in the senate.

 

“I have always been committed to the emancipation of Kogi people from the dearth of economic infrastructure and the human capital development challenges bedeviling us even in the midst of abundance human and natural resources.

 

“This unfortunate situation kept me worried all the time. For this reason, I have always in the course of my various endeavours been mindful of opportunities along my ways that that I can process to bring about solutions to my people at home. Which is why, in addition to my effort, I give direct support for my people.

 

“I played major roles in directing and facilitating some infrastructural projects and opportunities to Kogi State. Some of these in specific terms include over 20 units of multi-million naira ICT centers and many Model and Almajir schools spread across the state,” he said.
