The Kogi State House of Assembly has appointed Abdullahi Bello, former Speaker of the House as Chairman agriculture committee.
This development came to be with the announcement of the dissolution and re-constitution of the 25 standing committees in the House.
The Kogi State Speaker, Momoh Jimoh Lawal, said the dissolution of the old committees was to pave way for new hands into those committees.
Also appointed in the newly constituted committees are the majority leader, Yakubu Yunusa as Head of Business Rules Committee, Christopher Atule as Head of Works and Housing Committee, Paul Gowon as Head of the Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Committee.
Others are Gabriel Daudu who heads the Finance and Appropriation Committee and Habiba Deen as Head of Committee on Women Affairs.
