The governing council, management, staff and the entire students of Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede has congratulated the Governor elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Deputy Governor Elect, Comrade Salifu Joel Oyibo for the landslide victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state.
The Institution, in a congratulatory message signed by the Provost of the College, Mrs Hannah Oziohu Abraham, felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello for the unwavering support he gave to the party which has brought the emergence of this victory, noting that the administration of the incoming Governor will be consolidating on the Yahaya Bello-led administration.
Mrs Abraham prayed that the incoming administration of Alhaji Ododo will yield fruitful, remarkable and impactful success not only to Kogi State but Nigeria at large.
“I congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello for leading us to victory. His sermon for a violence free election was clearly manifested.
“This victory is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and the trust that the people of Kogi State have placed in him.
“Your election also reflects the confidence that the majority of the citizens have in your leadership abilities and your vision for the state. We believe that under your leadership, Kogi State will continue to experience growth, development, and prosperity.
“We in CONO believe that your tenure will favour the College and the entire Kogi citizens
“May God grant you the wisdom, strength, and courage to tackle the challenges that lie ahead, as you focus on achieving the goals that you have set for the betterment of Kogi State,” she said.
