Kogi Guber: Idris King Lauds Large Turnout, Acceptance of Gov. Bello At Campaigns

A former member of the House of Representative, Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King has hailed the unprecedented acceptance so far displayed by the people of Kogi state towards the return of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the forthcoming governorship election.

The former lawmaker noted that going by the large support, it is safe to say that Gov. Yahaya Bello and the APC remains the man and party to beat in the Kogi state governorship election slated for November 16.

He expressed appreciation to Kogi electorate for the large turnout and the show of love displayed at all the campaign rallies, pointing out that it is an indication that the election has been won. He urged the people not to relent until victory for the APC and Gov. Bello is announced.

In a statement released to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, Idris King described the aspiration of Gov. Bello as a good omen for peace, unity and development of the state.

He disclosed that from Idah, Kabba, Ajaokuta and Ankpa rallies, the people have by their large turnout and show of love shown that Gov. Bello will win overwhelmingly in the November governorship election.

The former lawmaker disclosed that he is equally impressed with the support the Hon. Idris King political family has attracted for the governor, said across the state. According to him, the Idris King political family has made milestone progress in bringing more persons to the GYB fold.

Hon. King assured that he and the members of his political family will not rest on their oars, promising that by 16th of November and with the feat that would be achieved, the opposition party will have no choice but to accept defeat.

He commended Gov. Bello for keeping to his campaign promises to the people. He stated that the commissioning and flagging off of projects by the governor even in an election year underscored the love the governor has for the people.

He expressed confidence that the governor will do more for the people if reelected, insisting that he had proven to have capacity and ability to move the state in the coming years.
