Wife of Okene Local Government Administrator, Hajia Sefiyat Abdulrazaq Muhammad has assured the first lady of Kogi State, Hajia Rasheedat Bello that women will come out in their large numbers to vote massively for Gov. Yahaya Bello in the November 16 gubernatorial election.
Mrs Abdulrazaq gave the assurance at Ogori-Magongo, venue of the Kogi Central APC women rally on Monday.
The woman leader who arrived Ogori/Magongo with thousands of supporters was commended by the First Lady for her commitment, hard work, diligence and passion for the success of Gov. Yahaya Bello through her various women empowerment programs and skills acquisition projects.
Addressing the press, the Council Chairperson reiterated her commitment to continue her women mobilisation and sensitization to ensure her women are properly educated on modalities of voting to reduce waste and invalid votes.
She said, a vote for Gov. Yahaya Bello is a vote for more developments, more projects, more women emancipation, reduction in infants mortality rate through quality health care and of course increased girl-child education in the state.
Hajia Abdulrazaq commended the First Lady for the uncommon love she has displayed towards women, youths and children of the state, noting that her intervention programs have endeared her to the people and the good gesture will surely be reciprocated through the ballot come November 16, 2019.
