Kogi Guber: Gov Bello’s Wife Donate 20 Buses, Campaign Materials

Wife of Kogi State Governor, Barr. Amina Oyiza Bello has donated campaign vehicles and other souvenirs to a campaign group, Motivated Youth for Kogi Betterment.

Mrs Bello made the donations at the inauguration of the campaign group in Lokoja on Tuesday.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Barr. Bello urged supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the disabled community in Kogi state to collect their permanent voters cards (PVCs) in order to vote and re-elect Governor Yayaha Bello during the November gubernatorial election in the state to enable him continue his good work.

The governor’s wife also enjoined the party members to embark on ward-to-ward and unit-to-unit mobilization in every local government of the state to inform the people about the achievements of Governor Bello in the last  four years.

She encouraged them to shun the politics of ethnicity, urging the youth as future leaders of the state to shun electoral violence by becoming tools in the hands of desperate politicians who want to come into power during the election.

Speaking during the handing over of the campaign vehicles and other campaign materials, the leader of the group, Shaibu Momoh Bello thanked Mrs Bello for her good gestures and promised that the twenty Toyota Sienna buses will be distributed among the local governments of the state for unit to unit campaigns.

Shaibu stated that the group has 263 coordinators in all the polling units in Kogi state. He assured Mrs Bello that the cars will be used to return Bello to the Lugard House to continue his good work.
