A former House of Assembly aspirant, Matthew James Avabee and his supporters have declared support for the re-election bid of the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the November election, Governor Yahaya Bello.
Avabee, popularly known as Mr Spreading, made this known in Lokoja on Tuesday after a meeting with Commissioner for agriculture, Kehinde Oloruntoba.
He announced that himself and other youth leaders in the Avabee political team have rejoined the APC GYB family ahead of 2019 gubernatorial election in the state.
He explained they decided to rejoin the New Direction team because of their relationship with the Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Edward David Onoja and the commissioner for agriculture. He stated that the decision was taken by the entire members and followers of Avabee Political Team in Kogi State.
Avabee commended his political leader from Kogi Central, Engr Abdullahi Malik Okino, a senatorial aspirant in the last general election, for his guidance before they took the current political step.
