Ahead of the November Governorship election, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Campaign Council in Okene Local Government has appointed a veteran media and communication strategist, Abdulmumin Abubakar as the head of Media and Publicity Committee as the Council unfolds her plans to vigorously take the achievements of the digital governor to the nooks and crannies of the area.
A statement issued by the Director-General of APC Campaign Council for Okene Local Government, Hon. Jatto Suleiman, said the media personality is an experienced media aide, a grassroot politician, a committed member of the new direction team and loyal party man who is expected to use his large network of media followership and experience to deliver the party’s manifestos vis-a-vis present the Governor’s unprecedented achievements to the people and of course centre our campaigns on issues.
Mr. Abdulmumin Abubakar is currently the Special Adviser to Okene Local Government Administrator on Media and Publicity and hails from Abuga/Ozuja ward in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State. He is expected to also head the Media and Publicity Unit of the Kogi Central Campaign team to be inaugurated soon.
