With the November Kogi gubernatorial election fast approaching, the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Ododo Ahmed Usman, is one candidate that is not living any stone unturned in the progressive action of paving the way for his journey to the Lugard House. This is showing much in his encompassing forms of relationship with the members of his party and the opposition parties.
For example, following resultant grievance from the outcome of the primary, that produced him as the candidate of the party, Ododo has been making brilliant moves towards ending the grievances. Reports recently surfaced over his meetings with some of his opponents in the primary. The parley had resulted in the withdrawal of lawsuits challenging the legitimacy of the primaries.
As a man of deep humility and understanding, the governorship hopeful needs everyone on board to win in the forthcoming election.
In determination and commitment to his aspiration, Ododo has gone beyond the elastic limit within the realm of his party by braking the barriers that put the opposition at unreachable bar. In high-level delegation, the candidate of All Progressive Congress, Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman, met with two former PDP governors and a former deputy in Kogi state, wooing them to work for him.
This reconciliatory gesture he has put in place is nascent in the politics of Kogi state. It shows his magnanimous mien and his immersion in the capacity and capacity to solidify the plurality of the people for better Kogi State.
While the state clamour for unifier to occupy the highest echelon of Kogi state government, this electioneering period should provide the opportunity for the electorates to select the best candidate, which the candidate of all Progressive Congress represents, that will bring peace and unity to the state.
On this development, the convener of Ododo School to School Campaign, Comrade Jelil Adabara recently lauded Ododo’s leadership initiatives and said his ways and manners of doing politics is an encouragement that is sending thunderous admiration and endearment to his political project.
Jelil made the statements while conferring with education stakeholders in Okene on the Ododo School to School campaign.
