The Kogi State Government has reiterated its commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and educational infrastructure, assuring the management of Holley Memorial Hospital and the United Evangelical Church (UEC) College of Nursing Sciences, Ochadamu, that their requests for state intervention will receive due attention.
The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, gave this assurance on Friday when he received a high-level management delegation from both institutions, led by Rev’d Noah Okolo Attah, during a courtesy visit to his residence in Ejule, Ofu Local Government Area.

He assured the visitors that their appeal would be given top consideration and channeled appropriately through his principal, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, in alignment with the developmental priorities and resource allocation of the state government. Furthermore, the Deputy Governor disclosed ongoing plans to connect the Ochadamu community and its environs to the upcoming Ejule Solar Power Project to boost local power supply.

Comrade Salifu commended the leadership of the hospital and the nursing college for their immense contributions to healthcare service and human capital development in the state, urging them to maintain their dedicated service and deepen their strategic partnership with the state administration.
Earlier in his address, the leader of the delegation, Rev’d Noah Attah, appealed for the urgent rehabilitation of the access road linking the Umomi arterial road to the institutions. He also requested the secondment of state healthcare personnel to augment existing staff and bolster clinical operations at the hospital, alongside other pressing operational needs.
