Governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in the disputed 2023 Kogi governorship election, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, has called on his supporters to remain resolute, vigilant and law abiding while awaiting Supreme Court verdict.

In a statement on Monday, Braimoh reiterated his unwaivering confidence in the apex court’s capacity to uphold justice.

This is coming on after the Supreme Court reserved judgment in the Kogi governorship election appeal between Action Alliance (AA) candidate Otunba Olayinka Braimoh and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, incumbent Governor Usman Ododo on Monday.

Otunba Braimoh said he is firmly convinced that the Supreme Court will meticulously rectify all injustices and oversights perpetrated by the tribunal and Court of Appeal, adding that he assured that the integrity of the judicial process will prevail, ensuring that justice is not only done but seen to be done.

The AA governorship candidate said he remains fully committed to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the democratic will of the people of Kogi State.
