By Yusuf Abubakar.

Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali, said if politics is about the development of social and infrastructural advancement of an area, then the people of Ibaji had been denied of a lot of its entitlements to the area by the current administrations at the state and federal levels.

Aidoko made this statement in Onyedega, headquarters of Ibaji local government area.

He described the plight of their son, Kogi state deputy governor, Elder Simon Achuba as unfortunate and undeserved of a public officer in such an exalted position.

Senator Aidoko urged the people to resolve to vote PDP at all levels, as the quantum of neglect of the people of Ibaji is highly regrettable.

He said the dearth of infrastructure in all ramifications in Ibaji area is a gross neglect from the government at all levels in the current dispensation.

Senator Aidoko pleaded with the people to work for his re-election, as the multi litigation surrounding Kogi East senate seat had been the bane of his distraction to reach out to the people.

He particularly expressed worry on the condition of the roads to the area which has badly affected the ease of movement, the socio- political and economic development of the area.

He said it is only PDP that can reconstruct the roads.

“Ibaji people have a lot of awkward experience from the present state and federal governments, so the need to demonstrate through massive support for PDP is apt and needful,” he said.

Senator Aidoko assured the people of Ibaji that with the resolve to vote Atiku and PDP candidates from top to the bottom will be better for the people of Kogi East.

Senator Aidoko said to avoid constant litigation over the Kogi East senate seat all good men of conscience must vote enmasse for PDP in the forthcoming elections in February.

He said a vote for APC in Kogi Rast for sheer political differences will be a serious doom to the people of the area, as any attempt to vote candidates of APC will mean the return of Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello which will encourage more hardship and poverty ridden situation on the society.

Senator Aidoko promised to do more on Ibaji oil, to ensure it come to fruition as well as harness the vast and habitable land for mechanized farming and encourage fish and acquatic farming.

He thanked the people for the reception and acceptance accorded him and promised to continue the routine visit before and after the election.
