Kogi Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Yahaha Ade Ismail Congratulates Governor Elect Ododo on Well Deserved Victory

The Kogi state Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Yahaya Ade Ismail has congratulated the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaha Bello, Kogi State Governor elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy Governor elect, H. E. Joel Oyibo on the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Ododo at the just concluded governorship election.

The former Special Adviser to Governor Yahaha Bello on Water Resources, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen, described the victory of the APC’s Ododo as the wishes of the people, who turned out in their large numbers to vote for the numerous achievements recorded by Governor Yahaha Bello as the antecedents of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The former special Adviser for Water Resources thanked the good people of Aiyegunle Gbede in particular, and Ijumu Local Government Area for voting massively for the APC, stressing that it is unprecedented in the history of the state.

“Look at what happened, the APC swept 80 percent votes in Kogi West Senatorial district, which means that Okun Nation have truly united and focused to deliver victory for the APC, as an indication that they are united for the future task of securing the next Governorship position after the expiration of the tenure of the Governor elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo by God’s power.

“I want to use this opportunity to appeal to Kogites to extend the support accorded Governor Yahaha Bello in his eight – year-administation to the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo when he assumes office, come January 27th, 2024, for more dividends of democracy across all local governments of our beloved Kogi State, keeping in mind he is a Governor for all people.

“While congratulating the Kogi state Governor elect, his Deputy Governor elect and the good people of Kogi state on this victory, it is my prayer that God will give them wisdom, strength, courage and good health to lead the affairs of Kogi state to enviable heights. Amen.”
