Kogi-Born James Hero Wins Northern Filmmakers’ Best Actor of the Year Award

Ohieku James Evemanyi, a Kogi-born Nollywood actor and film maker, has won the Northern Filmmakers Association of Nigeria’s best actor of the year award.

Popularly known as James Hero, the actor was presented with the award at the just concluded NFAN conference and award night in Kano.

The award, which was in recognition of James Hero’s commitment to the profession attracted critical stakeholders in the film industry from the 19 northern states of Nigeria.

He was celebrated for giving the North a voice to be reckoned with in the film industry.

Responding after receiving the award, the elated James Hero dedicated the award to his numerous fans and President of NFAN.

he described it as a reward for hard work and commitment to the movie industry, adding that the award will spur him to do more.
