Kogi Attracts Foreign Investors Interested in Power Generation Through PPP

In her bid to create a robust economic environment for businesses to thrive in Kogi State, the government has attracted foreign firms who are ready to establish power plants in the state.

Speaking to Kogireports.com, the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Public Private Partnerships, Mallam Abdul Adama said the administration of Captain Idris Wada is working hard to transform Kogi state and he believe that power generation is key to achieving that.

Mallam Abdul Adama confirmed to Kogireports.com that two different foreign firms have visited the state with the intent to build durable power plants in Kogi State.

These firms, according to the PPP Champion will site the power plants in Kogi State, create direct and indirect job opportunities and also create platforms for knowledge transfer.

The proposed power plants are expected to increase power supply to Kogi state by 250% in the next 2 years.
