A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Prince Dayo Akanmode has congratulated Nigerians and in particular the people of Kogi State on the occasion of this year’s independence celebration.
Prince Akanmode in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, urged the people to have faith in a better Nigeria and Kogi State especially.
The statement reads: “Congratulations to our country Nigeria and our state, Kogi State, on our independence anniversary. My hope and my prayer is for us to be truly independent. I thank all those who have supported our vision for a stable and prosperous state. I also appreciate all on our social media platforms for their engagements and contributions.”
He further said “Our hope is to add value to the gain of the past and present for the prosperity of our state. My appreciation goes to those who have supported us with their advice, counsel and finance.”
“Please let us remain focused and determined to face the task ahead as the vision is not about me but about our collective dignity and prosperity. I see light at the end of the tunnel if we don’t despair. Congratulations.”
