Two massive voting organizations namely the Okada Riders and Market Women Associations in Kabba have endorsed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) leading House of Representatives aspirant for the Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu Federal constituency, Hon. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi, popularly known as IDRUFEM.

Chairmen of the six zones of the associations unanimously endorsed Idris as their preferred candidate to represent the federal constituency in the National Assembly.

The six zonal chairmen present at the endorsement event are; Mr. Femi Omotugba of Charity, Mr. Olu of Unity, Mr. Segun Oloto of Nimota, Mr. Micheal of Nimotu, Mr. Oloi of Morning Star and Mr. Olowosegun of Liberty.

Mr. Femi Omotugba, the Charity association chairman, who spoke on behalf of the other five chairmen, hinged their decision to endorse Hon. Idris on his rich credentials and his humanitarian gesture in several empowerment programs, advancing the education of our youths through payments of tuition fees for the indigent students across the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, and always there to contribute to community development projects.

He urged the electorate to vote for Hon. Idris of ADC in the 2023 general elections for a better life for our people.

“There are years that ask questions and years that answer. With due respect to Zora Neal Hurston, the 2023 General election is that year that will answer the question for the better life of our people, as we can see what Hon. Leke Abejide, the Gbani Ghani of Yagba land, is doing with the ADC as a party in developing Yagba land.

“The Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu constituency will not be left out and Hon. Idris is the man we need for this noble task of repositioning the Kabba/Bunu-Ijumu federal constituency for the overall national development and ADC is the party we are voting for.

“I use this opportunity to congratulate Hon. IDRUFEM in advance. With his mandate, victory is sure,” he said.

Similarly, the Market Women Association has considered it imperative to join in endorsing the people’s leader owing to Hon. IDRUFEM’s commitment to women empowerment and girl child education.

Large crowd of market women gathered in Kabba singing and praying for Hon. Idris’ victory at the polls.

The spokespersons of the market women association, Ms. Olufunke Adebiyi and Ms. Olorunmaye Grace said “no women, no nation and it is on this basis that we are endorsing and mobilizing all the market women to vote for IDRUFEM the ADC candidate for the Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency election in the coming 2023 General election.”
