Julius Mubo: Groups Commend Fanwo for Donating Additional N400,000 to Offset Medical Bill of Accident Victim

Voice Of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY) and Mopa Students Union (MSU) has commended Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo for keeping his promise to cater for the hospital bill of Miss Julius Mubo who was unfortunately involved in a road accident while going back to school.

In a joint statement signed by Julius Olushola Abel and Sunday Adeola Simon, leaders of VOMY and MSU respectively, the groups urged other Mopamuro stakeholders to emulate Fanwo.

“In the name of humanity, we appreciate your fatherly care sir and pray that God will continue to enrich your good deeds.

“We plead with all other stakeholders from Mopamuro to take after gesture for the collective good of the entire community,” the statement read.

It would be recalled that on Friday, 14th of January, the Commissioner alongside other government officials visited Julius Mubo in Federal Medical Center, Lokoja.

In the course of the visit, he donated the sum of N100,000 to offset all medical expenses incurred so far.

On Monday, the Commissioner fulfilled his promise and made additional donation of N300,000 for the leg surgery to commence.

When contacted, the Commissioner returned all praises to God, added that he is only a pencil in the hands of God.

Fanwo said he will continue to do all he could for humanity and the good of Mopamuro.
