A philanthropist and Abuja-based businessman, Hon. Muhammed Yahaya has congratulated Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over the Supreme Court judgment affirming him as the duly elected Governor of the Kogi State.
The APC stalwart, in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, described the apex court judgment as the ultimate triumph of the collective will of the people of Kogi State who voted massively for the Governor in the 2023 governorship election in the state.
Hon. Muhammed Yahaya commended the Supreme Court, stating that it has again demonstrated the fact that it remains a beacon of hope for the people and democracy in Nigeria.
“On behalf of my family, I heartily rejoice and congratulate our beloved Governor, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo, our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and indeed, the good people of Kogi State.
“I sincerely appreciate the God Almighty for this special day. This Supreme Court victory is no doubt a victory for all of us, a victory for democracy, and a victory for the people of Kogi State,” Hon Yahaya stated.
While appreciating the immediate past Governor of the State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of the state for their support and cooperation with Governor Ododo, he observed that giant strides already being undertaken by the Ododo led administration is further repositioning the State for higher productivity and development.
The philanthropist called on all stakeholders in the State to join hands with Governor Ododo to ensure the overall success of the his development Agenda in the interest of all. As we all know we have no other State than our dear Kogi State.
