The House of Representative member representing Adavi/Okehi, Hon Abdulmaleek Danga, has expressed deep sadness and shock over the ghastly accident that claimed the loves of some students of the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State.
In a statement on Tuesday, the lawmaker condoled with the management, staff, and students of Federal University Lokoja, particularly the families and friends of the victims.
He said “No words can adequately express our sorrow and sympathy for the irreparable loss of lives.
“In this difficult moment, we pray that God grants us the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss. May He also grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed and comfort to those they left behind.
“The House of Representatives stands in solidarity with the Federal University Lokoja community and the families of the victims.
“We will continue to pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident and for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed.”
