Governor Bello ‘Declares War’ on Infrastructures in Secondary Schools Across Kogi

The Governor Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has “declared war on infrastructures” in secondary schools across the state.

This was made known by the state commissioner for information and communication, Kingsley Fanwo, after the executive council meeting in Lokoja on Thursday.

Fanwo said the governor has directed that structures in secondary schools across the state be raised to high standards.

The commissioner said the executive council considered and approved the memo seeking the construction of GYB Model Science Secondary Schools (GYBMSSS) at Okene and Lokoja.

Also, the council approved the memo for the renovation and remodeling of the Government Girls’ Unity Secondary School (GGUSS), Oboroke in Okehi LGA and Ajibola Community Secondary School, (CSS), Ajiyolo-Ojaji in Dekina LGA.

Fanwo added that the council equally considered the proposed provision of solar-powered streetlights for Kabba township roads that is currently undergoing rehabilitation and reconstruction.
